What is Dear America Network?
Dear America Network exists to help Americans make sense of our relationship with the world – what we’re doing on the global stage and why we’re doing it.
As the world’s “indispensable nation,” America’s decisions have effects that ripple across the globe. And in our republic, those decisions are ultimately driven by everyday Americans like us. At Dear America Network, our goal is to inspire a globally-informed American population essential to the thriving democracy of one of the greatest superpowers in the history of the world.
America’s leadership role is a tremendous responsibility and weight on the shoulders of Americans that was not directly pursued and certainly not inherited from royalty. It was earned through American grit and tenacity. And now, it is a badge of honor that we carry with pride and reverence. We are the leader of the free world, and in a sense, in the “melting pot” that is American society, we represent freedom-loving peoples of the world like no other nation can.
To achieve our goal at Dear America Network, our coverage will crisscross the globe, country by country, to tell you what matters to Americans and why. We will provide a historical perspective on current events paired with strategic depth that is uniquely valuable to Americans, respectful of their intelligence, and worthy of their time. We will strive for timely coverage while prioritizing timeless insights.
In a world where it feels like information is everywhere, yet substance nowhere, we can help.
But in the words of the great Benjamin Franklin – “well done is better than well said” – so don’t take our word for it, see for yourself by joining us at Dear America Network!
